LOCATION
MHTROPOLEOS
Starting from Ladadika and ending at Pavlou Mela Street, the Mitropoleos street is one of the horizontal streets of the city center, parallel to the beach and the streets, Tsimiski, Ermou, Egnatia. It is one of the most cosmopolitan streets of the city, with expensive clothing stores and famous fashion houses. At its start from Ladadika, it passes through Eleftherias square where the branches of all the banks housed in old imposing and impressive neoclassical buildings are concentrated. On the street we will strongly notice the beautiful architecture in many buildings.
Ακριβώς μετά την πλατεία Ελευθερίας, εκτείνονται στην σειρά όλα τα ταξιδιωτικά γραφεία της πόλης. Στην συνέχεια του δρόμου, θα βρείτε και την ιδιοκτησία μας, στο κτήριο του μέγαρου ζενίθ εξ ου και η επωνυμία του καταλύματος.
The beautiful but abandoned building has stood there since 1924 and is located on plot 18/1 of the fire zone. It was designed by the architect Jacques Moshe and owned by the brothers Isakino and Roberto, sons of Chaim G. Botton. This family was not only unknown to the people of Thessaloniki, as they belonged to the aristocracy of the city and were the owners of the largest jewelry store in Thessaloniki ("Zenith SA", hence the name of the building).
Design
Με αφετηρία την κληρονομιά της πόλης, στην εσωτερική διακόσμηση του καταλύματος έχουν αξιοποιηθεί γοητευτικά ρετρό στοιχεία συνδυασμένα με μοντέρνες λεπτομέρειες μοναστηριακού ντιζάιν σε γήινες αποχρώσεις πορτοκαλιού και πέτρας. Κάθε σουίτα έχει μια λεπτομέρεια κάθετων ανάγλυφων ράβδων στον τοίχο σε απόχρωση του μπορντώ ή γκρι, ανάγλυφα μοτίβα στον τοίχο και ανοιχτό ιδιωτικό μπάνιο μέσα στο υπνοδωμάτιο.
Οι 9 σουΐτες εμπνέουν τους επισκέπτες με το βυζαντινό τους χαρακτήρα, τις αψιδωτές πόρτες που παραπέμπουν στην πλούσια ιστορική αρχιτεκτονική της πόλης και τις κομψές καλλιτεχνικές δημιουργίες ντόπιων τεχνιτών.
